This weekend though Gwin Girls Winery will be having "Gwin Girls Winery Music Palooza 2022 - Crew-Sade for Kids!" This charity event will be on Saturday, July 16th from 11am-8pm. Proceeds will go t childhood cancer. The community has enjoyed the "Coffee with a Cop" sessions that take place in local businesses and have the community meet and ask questions and learn more about our public safety. Coming up next month that Officer Sell talked about is the annual National Night Out Tuesday, August 2nd from 5pm-8pm at BRDPS in Downtown Big Rapids. "National Night Out is our popular yearly event when we invite the community to spend a family fun and exciting evening with the Big Rapids DPS. Partnered with the Big Rapids Housing Commission and other community organizations we provide food, music, games and prizes free of charge to the community. This event is partnered with other National Night Out events going on across the country, U.S. Territories and U.S. Military bases worldwide on the same day." Families come on out to have fun while also learning and meeting our community's officers and more!
